Gretsch Rancher de 1958
Wow, cette Rancher est dans un état incroyable pour un instrument de 65 ans
Le vernis est craquelé par endroits, et l’on note de très petites traces d’usure, mais l’on frôle l’état neuf !
Dernière année de production avec le “G” caractéristique.
Le son est très distinctif, et si cette guitare ne sera pas la reine du bluegrass, elle pourrait bien être la muse ultime d’un(e) songwriter pop-folk ou d’un fan d’Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent ou Brian Setzer
Table en épicéa
Corps et manche en érable
Touche en ébène (ce qui est inhabituel,mais la teinte est vraiment foncée sur toute la tessiture)
Chevalet “grand piano” en palissandre
Livrée en étui d’origine Lifton avec certificat d’époque et tags !!

Wow, what an incredible condition for a 65-year old guitar
Some weather checking here and there, some very small traces of wear, but we are in a near mint condition !
Last year with the characteristic « G » letter
Tone is unmistakable, and while this guitar won’t be a bluegrass force, it could very well be the ultimate muse of a pop-folk songwriter or the dream of an Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent or Brian Setzer aficionado
