Cette Gibson Les Paul Jr de 1955, la seconde année de production,  témoigne de manière exceptionnelle du savoir-faire de Gibson à cette époque. Initialement présentée comme un modèle étudiant avec des ornements et des accessoires simplifiés, la Les Paul Junior est depuis devenue un incontournable très recherché par les musiciens professionnels et les collectionneurs. Légère et confortable,  la guitare est dans un état entièrement d’origine magnifique. La patine et le « weather checking du vernis sont splendide et témoigne qu’elle a été joué avec passion! Les potentiomètres sont des originaux de la marque IRC datés de la 18ème semaine de 1955 et la capacité « Dubilier » est également d’origine.  Il y a une certaine magie dans le son d’une pièce d’acajou massif avec un seul micro P90″dog ear » qui résonne – nous pouvons attester de ce sentiment avec une guitare comme celle-ci. La beauté dans la simplicité! Livrée en étui rigide non original.

This 1955 Gibson Les Paul Jr, from the second year of production, is an exceptional example of Gibson’s craftsmanship at that time. Initially presented as a student model with simplified ornamentation and accessories, the Les Paul Junior has since become a highly sought-after staple among professional musicians and collectors. Lightweight and comfortable, the guitar is in magnificent original condition. The patina and weather checking of the finish are splendid and show that it has been played with passion! The potentiometers are original IRC dating from the 18th week of 1955, and the “Dubilier” capacitor is also original. There is a certain magic in the sound of a solid mahogany body with a single P90 “dog ear” pickup that resonates—we can attest to this feeling with a guitar like this one. Beauty in simplicity!
