GUILD ARTIST AWARD de 1966

Une Guild Artist Award de 1966 en finition sunburst sur laquelle un authentique micro Gibson « PAT » des années 60 a été installé. Il s’agit de la guitare archtop la plus haut de gamme produite par Guild. Le modèle Johnny Smith Artist a vu le jour en 1956 et a été rebaptisé Artist Award en 1961. Celle-ci est grande et belle, et sonne fantastiquement bien. La guitare possède une touche en ébène avec des incrustations en abalone. Dos et éclisses en érable très figuré et table d’harmonie en épicéa massif. Cette Guild sonne magnifiquement, qu’elle soit branchée ou simplement acoustique.  La taille de la caisse est de 17″ et la largeur du sillet est de 1 11/16. Les binding ont été refait sur toute l’éclisse inférieure. Une vrai grande guitare de jazz ! Rare en Europe. Livrée en étui Guild non original.

A 1966 Guild Artist Award in sunburst finish with an authentic 1960s Gibson “PAT” pickup installed. This is the highest-end archtop guitar produced by Guild. The Johnny Smith Artist model was introduced in 1956 and renamed Artist Award in 1961. This one is large and beautiful, and sounds fantastic. The guitar has an ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays. The back and sides are made of highly figured maple and the top is solid spruce. This Guild sounds magnificent, whether plugged in or simply played acoustically. The body size is 17“ and the nut width is 1 11/16”. The bindings have been redone on the entire lower side. A truly great jazz guitar! Rare in Europe. Comes in a non-original Guild case.
