GIBSON LG-1 de 1964

Cette Gibson LG-1, en excellent état pour son âge, est un exemple parfait du modèle à barrage en échelle. Le chevalet d’origine a été remplacé professionnellement par un modèle collé en palissandre, constituant une amélioration significative au niveau du son et du sustain. Les mécaniques sont des reproductions Kluson récentes mais les originales sont fournies dans l’étui « chip case » d’origine. Le Pickguard a également été remplacé. En dehors de ces modifications, l’instrument offre une jouabilité  parfaite. Il y a quelques légères rayures minimes, ce qui est normal pour une guitare de plus de 60 ans. La LG-1 produit le son « boxy » caractéristique des Gibson à barrage en échelle, ce qui en fait un choix idéal pour le fingerpicking et le strumming.

This Gibson LG-1, in excellent condition for its age, is a perfect example of the ladder-bracing model. The original bridge has been professionally replaced by a glued rosewood model, providing a significant improvement in sound and sustain. The tuners are recent Kluson reproductions, but the originals are supplied in the original chip case. The Pickguard has also been replaced. Aside from these modifications, the instrument offers perfect playability. There are a few minor scratches, which is normal for a guitar over 60 years old. The LG-1 produces the boxy sound characteristic of Gibson ladder-bracing guitars, making it an ideal choice for fingerpicking and strumming.
