SEMI-HOLLOW
The Motown Bass is a semi-hollow constructed bass featuring a solid centerblock and flat 35mm sides. This makes this big-body bass particularly easy to handle on stage.
DS BLADE PICKUPS
Three of our own DS Alnico Blade pickups make this bass extremely versatile giving you the astonishing tonality of the past 50 years. Each pickup can be switched on and off individually.
PLEK PROCESSED
A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
INCREDIBLY WARM TONE
We have taken the best features of the British and American sounding basses and made an incredible warm semi-hollow bass. The Motown comes with 3 single coil pickups giving you the astonishing tonality of the past 50 years.
Its body is constructed from spruce for the top and flamed maple for the back and bent sides. The top and back are arched just very slightly to give you elegant curves to snuggle with.
The Pickguard is made out of elegant vintage pearl and features a master volume and master tone pot, as well as three switches that let you control each pickup individually.
