La Fender Jimi Hendrix Monterey Stratocaster est un hommage à la légendaire Strat, que le dieu de la guitare a brûlé à la fin de son spectacle au Monterey Pop Festival en 1967. En conséquence, le corps en aulne est enveloppé dans une reproduction détaillée de l’œuvre d’art floral que Hendrix a peint sur sa guitare avec du vernis à ongles la veille de l’exposition. Le manche en érable est vissé de manière classique sur le corps et porte une touche en Pau Ferro, sur laquelle, grâce au confortable profil en « C », chaque léchage du répertoire de Jimi est facilement enlevé de la main. The Fender Jimi Hendrix Monterey Stratocaster is a tribute to the legendary Strat, which the guitar god burned at the end of his show at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. Accordingly, the alder body is wrapped in a detailed reproduction of the floral artwork Hendrix painted on his guitar with nail polish the day before the show. The maple neck is classically screwed to the body and carries a Pau Ferro fingerboard, on which, thanks to the comfortable “C” profile, every lick of Jimi’s repertoire is easily removed from the hand. Authentic vintage sound is also provided by Fender single-coil pickups, which, while playing amplified electric guitar, have clear associations with Seattle virtuosos. Of course, the Fender Jimi Hendrix Monterey Stratocaster is also equipped with Fender Synchronized Tremolo and authentic vintage tuners.
