FENDER STRATOCASTER FIESTA RED REFIN de 1959
Une très belle Fender Stratocaster revernie en fiesta red de 1959, l’une des premières dotée d’une touches « slabboard » en palissandre ! Le manche a été également reverni et le logo a été remplacé. Les mécaniques ne sont pas d’origine ainsi que le potentiomètre de volume.
Pour le reste, tout est là: les 3 micros d’origine « black-bottom », le Pickguard « single ply » à onze vis, les potentiomètres de tonalités sont datés du 304.9.20 (20e semaine de 1959), le sélecteur 3 positions et la capacité « Phone Book », les pontets et le bloc vibrato.
Le vernis fiesta red en nitrocellulose a été effectué dans les règles de l’art et la date du corps (7-59) a été préservée dans la cavité arrière avec le sunburst d’origine. Le manche en érable d’une seule pièce et sa splendide touche slabbooard en palissandre de Rio présente le profil en C typique de 1959 sans date sur le talon , ce qui est normal à cette époque. Il a également été refretté.
La guitare est livrée dans son étui Fender Tolex brown d’origine avec une doublure intérieure jaune. Une guitare au son exceptionnel pour la moitié du prix d’une 100% originale !
1959 FENDER STRATOCASTER FIESTA RED REFIN
A beautiful 1959 Fender Stratocaster refinished in fiesta red, one of the first to feature a rosewood slabboard fingerboard! The neck has also been refinished and the logo replaced. The tuners are not original, nor is the volume knob.
Otherwise, everything else is original: the three original black-bottom pickups, the single-ply pickguard with eleven screws, the tone potentiometers dated 304.9.20 (20th week of 1959), the three-position selector switch and “Phone Book” capacitor, the saddles, and the vibrato block.
The fiesta red finish was done by the book with nitrocellulose lacquer and the body date (7-59) has been preserved in the rear cavity with the original sunburst. The one-piece maple neck and its splendid Brazilian rosewood slabboard fingerboard feature the typical 1959 C-profile with no date on the heel, which was normal at the time. It has also been refretted.
The guitar comes in its original Fender brown tolex case with a yellow lining. An exceptional sounding guitar for half the price of a 100% original!
