GIBSON L-7C Sunburst 1961
Cette sublime Gibson L-7C sunburst de 1961 va faire chavirer les cœurs des amateurs de archetop !
La Gibson L-7C à été fabriquée de 1948 à 1972 sur les mêmes spécifications que sa cousine la L-5, un corps 17″, la table en épicéa massif est sculptée à la main,
le dos est en érable massif, le manche en trois pièces d’érable et la touche est en palissandre de rio.
La jouabilité demande peu d’effort, le manche est confortable, les frettes ont été changées il y a quelques années mais celle-ci sont
en bonne état.
Le son en acoustique est puissant mais pas agressif et garde une belle rondeur, l’ajout récent d’un micro flottant rappel le célèbre modèle
Gibson “Johnny Smith” et permet ainsi de pouvoir ce brancher à un amplis.
La guitare est en parfait état, quelques traces d’usure mais pas de craks sur cette belle dame de 62 ans!
Livrée en étui non d’origine.

This gorgeous 1961 Gibson L-7C sunburst will capsize the hearts of archetop lovers!
The Gibson L-7C was manufactured from 1948 to 1972 to the same specifications as its cousin the L-5, a 17″ body, the solid spruce top is hand carved,
the back is solid maple, three pieces maple neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.
Playability is great, the neck is comfortable, the frets were changed a few years ago but these are
in good condition.
The acoustic sound is powerful but not aggressive and maintains a nice roundness, the recent addition of a floating microphone is reminiscent of the famous model
Gibson “Johnny Smith” and thus allows you to connect it to an amp.
The guitar is in perfect condition, some signs of wear but no cracks on this beautiful 62 year old lady!
