Une Fender Telecaster Blonde de toute fin d’année 1969, n° 280544. Les codes sont ambigus : le serial tombe dans la plage généralement associée à 1970, le talon estampillé 3 22 017 B correspond au système numérique apparu fin 1969, et un potentiomètre date de la 36e semaine de 1966 (code 6636). Le vernis d’origine, un Olympic White jauni vers un blonde chaud, est conservé. Elle a été refrétée en medium jumbo, avec un overspray sur le manche. Le logement du micro manche a été fraisé pour un mini-humbucker ; le micro manche d’origine est monté à travers le pickguard. Le micro chevalet n’est pas d’origine et la bridge plate a été changée ; le bridge cover est une reproduction. Poids 3,32 kg, sillet 41,7 mm, épaisseur 21,8 mm à la 1re frette et 22,6 mm à la 12e. Livrée dans son étui rigide d’origine, logo Fender sans « tail ».

A late-1969 Fender Telecaster in Blonde, serial 280544. The dating codes are ambiguous: the serial falls in the range usually associated with 1970, the heel stamp 3 22 017 B matches the numeric system introduced in late 1969, and one pot dates to the 36th week of 1966 (code 6636). The original finish, an Olympic White that has yellowed to a warm blonde, is retained. It has been refretted with medium jumbos, with overspray on the neck. The neck pickup cavity was routed for a mini-humbucker; the original neck pickup is now mounted through the pickguard. The bridge pickup is not original and the bridge plate has been changed; the bridge cover is a reproduction. Weight 3.32 kg, nut 41.7 mm, neck depth 21.8 mm at the 1st fret and 22.6 mm at the 12th. Comes in its original hardshell case, with the no-tail Fender logo.
